Shakeh Aslanyan is an Armenian-American artist, born and raised in Hollywood, California. Raised in an Armenian household by two immigrant parents, Aslanyan quickly learned the importance of maintaining a strong connection to your roots and your family, and this would later resonate in her artwork. Aslanyan graduated from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California with honors and received a bachelor’s degree in illustration for entertainment arts, along with a minor in business. She enjoys exploring her culture and her passion for music through her art, hoping to one day be able to include both aspects professionally for visual development and freelance illustration.
